Changes to Employers Liability Insurance
From October 1st 2008 employers are no longer required to keep
copies of out-of-date employers’ liability compulsory insurance
(ELCI) certificates for the 40 year period that was previously
stipulated. However, employers are strongly advised to keep details
of their ELCI policies as an employees’ claim may not occur
for many years after the cause of the illness.
