The campaign for gay couples to be given the same pension benefits as individuals in heterosexual partnerships has taken a step forward following an employment tribunal ruling.
According to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), companies are facing an increased financial burden from new legislation being introduced, despite the government’s pledge to only implement further regulations when current ones are removed.
