Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1987 but has been working in solicitors’ practices since 1984. He started to specialise in the field of Family Law shortly after qualifying and is now a well-known and respected figure in that field. His specialism and expertise is such that he represents children in wide ranging Children Act cases (being a member of the specialist Children Act panel). He represented parties in the cited Court of Appeal cases of Re W (A Child) [2014] EWCA Civ 772 and Re D (A Child) [2010] EWCA Civ 1000, as well as other noted cases such as Re R (Children) [2007] EWHC 1202 (Fam). He undertakes his own advocacy in the High Court/County Court and deals with the following cases:

• Child protection;
• Removal of children from their parents by social workers;
• Care and supervision orders;
• Disputes between parents relating to their children;
• Child abduction;
• Emergency protection orders;
• Parental responsibility orders and agreements;

Andrea is a qualified Chartered Legal Executive. She joined the firm in 2001 and having dealt with a range of family related issues since 1988. Andrea dealt with a broad spectrum of issues such as divorce, complex children matters and intricate financial disputes when relationships break down until October 2022 when, after over 34 years of practising family law, she decided it was time for a change of career direction and that she should use her skills in a new role.

Since October 2022 Andrea has taken up the role of Legal Aid, billing, and file manager in our busy family department. Although currently non-practising Andrea retains her Legal Executive qualification and undertakes her continuing professional development training and is able to train more junior members of the department and generally assist the family team due to her extensive knowledge and experience in family law.

Hollie specialises in all matters relating to children, children’s welfare and domestic abuse/violence. In 2017 she was nominated and shortlisted for the Legal Executive of the Year in the National Family Law Awards held in London, and in 2016 was nominated and short listed for Worcestershire Women of the Year for the work that she does in relation to children and domestic abuse/violence.

Hollie also offers advice and assistance in relation to divorce, separation, and financial matters arising from separation or divorce. Hollie is a member of Resolution and the Advanced Family Law Panel.

In her spare time Hollie is also the Regional Welfare Officer for British Gymnastics in the West Midlands, assisting with any allegations of harm or abuse of children. She is also the secretary for her local church PCC.

She regularly attends upon on clients, local authorities and colleagues in the legal profession. She loves the diversity of the role and says “no day is the same”. In Donna’s spare time she enjoys aqua-aerobics, Pilates, yoga and walking.

Zoe equally is enjoying developing her skills and knowledge in the department and keeping ahead with all changes and developments in the law moving forward.

Jacqui joined our firm in 2010 and has many years’ experience in the legal and financial profession. Jacqui is our Legal Cashier she is always available to assist our clients with any queries regarding statements and accounts.

In the last couple of years Jacqui has taken an active role within the Conveyancing department assisting when required with completions, registrations and with the submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns. Jacqui also now conducts and makes the required checks in respect of source of funds.

Our team has over 40 years of collective experience in delivering high quality work in all matters relating to wills and estate administration. In addition the team has particular expertise in advising the elderly in relation to implementing a Lasting Power of Attorney.

We have three main members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Thomas Chambers, Director and Head of probate and estate administration.
