Sufia qualified as a solicitor in 2007 but has been working in solicitors’ practices since 2004. She started to specialise in the field of Family Law shortly after qualifying and is now a well-known and respected figure in that field. Her specialism and expertise is such that she represents parents in wide ranging Children Act cases. She has worked both in private practice and within a number of Local Authorities on child care matters. Sufia has now focused her practice in public law children matters, representing parents on child care matters. She undertakes her own advocacy in the High Court/County Court whenever possible.

Away from work Sufia enjoys travelling, exploring different parts of the world, experiencing different cultures, eating out, shopping, socialising with family and friends.

Andrea is a qualified Chartered Legal Executive. She joined the firm in 2001 and having dealt with a range of family related issues since 1988. Andrea deals with a broad spectrum of issues such as divorce, complex children matters and intricate financial disputes when relationships break down. Andrea whilst still fee earning has since October 2022 decided it was time to develop her role further.

Since October 2022 Andrea has taken up further responsibilities being the role of Legal Aid, billing, and file manager in our busy family department. Andrea now splits her time fee earning, together with Billing ,training and supervising more junior members of the department and generally assisting and mentoring the family team due to her extensive knowledge and experience in family law.


Charnjit Sandhu

Charnjit was admitted to the Roll of Solicitor in 2010. She has since them (barring a few years for life outside of the Law) practice in Family Law.

Charnjit has a focus on divorce, separation, financial settlements, and private law children disputes. Charnjit has a pragmatic and compassionate approach and aim to provide clarity to her clients at a time of turmoil.

Away from work, Charnjit enjoys reading, eating out, visiting new places and spending time with family and friends.

Donna joined the firm in July 1987 and has been working in various departments. For the last 7 years she has been the Administrator for our very busy Family & Childcare department. She regularly attends upon on clients, local authorities and colleagues in the legal profession. She loves the diversity of the role and says “no day is the same”. In Donna’s spare time she enjoys aqua-aerobics, Pilates, yoga and walking.

Tatiana joined the firm in late 2023 after completing her Law Degree and Legal Practice Course, Tatiana has gained a years’ experience in our Family department and in October 2024 became a Trainee Solicitor. Tatiana is now focusing her attention in our Conveyancing Team and enjoying her new role. Tatiana is very active within the department and will often attend upon clients both on the telephone and in meetings. In her spare time will often be found spending time socialising with friends and family.

Pharrell is a 2024 law graduate from the University of Birmingham. Since joining Carvill & Johnson as a Paralegal, he has been enjoying his time learning from experienced family law solicitors and embracing the tight-knit, caring, family culture of the firm. Pharrell intends to have a long and successful legal career. He has also gained valuable legal experience in St Lucia, where he conducted interviews for clients and attended conferences, showcasing his adventurous spirit and dedication to the legal profession.
